• The 5th Annual Middle East Film Festival will take place this fall at Witherspoon cinema. For full details on the program you can download the flyer here.

• The Umm Kulthoum Arabic Music Orchestra. For the first time, an Arabic musical orchestra will perform at NCSU (and in Raleigh) for one evening of classical music from the Middle East. For information and tickets please visit the event website.

• Egypt Study Abroad - Summer 2008: The Middle East Studies program is organizing its second summer study abroad program in Egypt. Visit the website for further details on this 5-week program.

• A new Middle East Studies minor has been established at NC State.
